Growing ...

Mamaw's grape vines are in season so we have been picking grapes ...
and I love to eat them, but because they have seeds in them Audrey doesn't seem to care too much for them yet. (She sticks to the green table grapes we buy at Kroger.)
But the grapes make me realize that fall is nearly here. And I enjoy this time of year. Walking through fall craft festivals, eating pumpkin rolls, sipping Pumpkin Spice Lattes, wearing long sleeve tees and fleece ... I LOVE FLEECE.
And then there's indoor activities such as SCRAPBOOKING! I have 2 scrapbooking weekends coming up this month. I am so excited about that Mom time with my sister and friends.
And of course Audrey's birthday is coming up in just 5 weeks from tomorrow (Saturday, September 9th). So hard to believe she'll be 3 years old.
I'll try to post new photos before then but if not expect to see many new shots after 10/22/06. My baby is growing up!

Hello September!

As if a switch was flipped on Friday, September 1st, Fall seems to have began in Louisville, KY. We welcomed it in this weekend with a ride in our lil' radio flyer wagon among other things. (See photo at left) If we go for a walk (meaning I walk and she rides in the wagon of course) Audrey automatically thinks a popsicle is included. So it was! But take a look at this face/shirt after a ride down the block and back. I'll have to SHOUT that stain out! We had such a nice day together though.

A side note ... my fall weekend started out wonderful with a FREE Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks on Friday. A new store opened less than a mile from my house and I was there on Opening Day as they handed out free samples but their computers were down so my Grande PSL was free as well. Woo Hoo!
