Crabby Pants

After you woke from your nap yesterday Mamaw & I took you to Meijer to ride the Penny Pink Pony, which we thought would make you happy, but it turns out you had your crabby pants on yesterday. So we dressed you appropriately it seems (see tee shirt in photo at left).

Homesick

I don't know if it's really homesick if I am home but you are not. But it doesn't feel like home when you are not there so I guess I am homesick for the warmth and love you bring to our house.

I know that you are happy at Mamaw & Papaw's for a few days while we are without a babysitter. I am very grateful that you have this time with your grandparents.

But I miss you so much. I love you more than anything in the world. You are my sweet, beautiful joy of life. I can't wait to see you Thursday afternoon and get one of your big hugs.

1st ponytail

It only took us 31 months to get enough hair to pull up in a ponytail. And then we went last night to get it cut ... not much, but just enough to make it manageable. And she was a very good girl during her first haircut. (Not very still, but good nonetheless.)
