Dairy Castle kids

We walked the kids down to the Dairy Castle for ice cream yesterday after work. It was 78 degrees outside and gorgeous!

They had a good time watching each other and sharing soft serve.

I think there are many trips to the Dairy Castle in our future this Spring & Summer.

WHY: Because you asked to wear Papaw's hat from the 70's and of course he said yes and then you had to wear the mini basketball net around your neck along with the ribbon necklace I found at the Dollar store when we ran out for "pink" ice cream that afternoon

My Monkey

I took my monkey to see the movie about the "curious" monkey yesterday ... her first time in a theatre. She was very well-behaved. She recognized right away when George was in "TIME OUT". Does that tell you anything about my monkey?

P.S. I had to bribe her to cheese for the camera in this photo with a purple easter sucker that her Aunt Nana gave her a whole bag of. She loves them!

Play Date No. 1

We had our very first Play Date yesterday after work at Riverview Park with Zander and his Mommy. It was a gorgeous day for it ... 76 degrees and sunny. Audrey absolutely wore herself out. She laughed so hard through her first ever experience on a swingset. And if she went up the steps and down the slide once, she did it 50 times. As I was putting her in the car seat to go home she rubbed her eyes and said "Audrey sleepy". Needless to say we went home and took a bath before crashing.

But the highlight of my day was when I picked her up from the sitter's and she ran over to me, jumped in my arms, laid her head against my chest and said "Momma, I missed you".

It just doesn't get any better than that!
