Merry Christmas to all!

Merry Christmas to all ... from Santa's little helper (pictured here).
I am on vacation for the next 2 weeks with my girl and we have big plans. We are visiting Mamaw & Papaw, potty training and cleaning house! Sounds like fun, huh? But really just having some extra time together is all that matters.
I hope to spend some time with my beautiful new niece too. I can't believe how big she has gotten. She just smiled when she saw me at the babysitter's yesterday after work. That warms my heart!
Here's hoping everyone has a safe and happy holiday. And that you all get what you want from Santa ... it seems my daughter is expecting doughnuts from the man in red (go figure!)

Snow Place Like Home

My girl is sick today so I can't wait to get out of work, pick her up from the sitters, and get home safe within our 4 walls ... from the snow, cold temps, and traffic!
It's an amazing thing now that she is old enough to tell me when she is sick. She told me 2 days ago that her "ear hurt" and sure enough she has another ear infection!
So we are going to stay home tomorrow and enjoy the comforts of home ... the temptations of the 3 Christmas trees, the pudding cups (that she so adorably consumes in this photo), and "Traaaaaciiiiiii"-- the family dog who gets NO rest these days. I hope that everyone stays safe & warm this weekend.
